Replacement of UPS by DC 220V Battery Bank

目前发电厂、变电站等有控制系统的场所,都设计有UPS不间断电源,目的是防止厂用工作电源消失后,控制系统失去监控作用,给事故的后处理造成不应有的损失和失去事件过程的部分记录。使用厂用直流220V电源替代UPS直供控制系统,也能达到"不间断电源"同样的效果,又减少设备投资、减化系统结构、减少维护工作,提高系统可靠性。

UPS commonly was used in the control systems of power plants and substations. It functions to avoid power lose for these systems,which would results in control systems＇ malfunction and the missing of importance events in chronological records. This paper presents an alternative solution to UPS,that is to use the DC 220V station ser- vice system to supply power directly to the control system,can achieve ＂Uninterruptible Power Supply＂ the same effect in this way. Moreover,the solution has advantages of lower investment,simplified system structure,less maintenance,and improve higher reliability.
