The education based internet is the one of most important application of the computer technology and network technology in the field of education. Nevertheless the core of developing the education based internet is the design of multimedia system based -web. In this article ,according to the authors` experience of designing the multimedia system based -web of the basis of information retrieval, firstly they give a brief introduction of this system. Then they give a detailed introduction of some problems and techniques which should pay attention to in the practice of designing one of multimedia education system based-web.
