语料库方法在政治文本翻译评析中的应用——以2008年《中国国防白皮书》为例

A Corpus-based Study of Translation of Political Documents:China's National Defense in 2008 as a Case Study

作为国家军事方面对外宣传的重要资料,《中国国防白皮书》受到世界各国的高度重视。借助语料库的方法对以国防白皮书为代表的政治文本进行翻译评析,可提高翻译评估的客观性,增强翻译研究的科学性。本文以AntConc及WinAlign两种工具为辅助,分别从词汇和句子层面具体分析国防白皮书的语言特征,探讨政治文本翻译的特征及规律,从而为今后的政治文本翻译提出建议。

As an important document to publicize China＇s military affairs, the White Paper of China＇s National Defense has drawn great attention from the outside world. A corpus-based assessment of the translation of such political documents can improve the objectivity and reliability of evaluation. With the help of AntConc and WinAlign, this paper makes a detailed analysis of the linguistic features of the English version of this White Paper at the lexical and sentential levels. It is hoped that the findings can provide suggestions for future translation in this field.
