概述了世界速生杨树研究的现状 ,介绍速生杨树的育种、病虫害防治 ,以及短轮伐期集约栽培等方面的情况 .我国杨树栽培对木材生产有很大的潜力 ,但存在一系列的问题和困难 。

This paper gives a comprehensive description of current development of researches on Fast-growing Poplar in the world. The development of economic efficiency,insect pests control, short rotation intensive cultivation and of the Fast-growing Poplar is introduced. We points out the problems existing in research on the species Fast-growing Poplar, and makes some the Poplar cultivation in China recommendations for their solution.
