Lu Jiuyuan＇s research features can be understood mainly from his opinions towards teachers and friends,reading and archaeological studies,learning and intellectual enquiries.He once asserted ＂people shouldn＇t doubt books,but shouldn＇t blindly follow them,either;people shouldn＇t cast away books,but shouldn＇t read them without selection;people should analyze the opinions of teachers and friends,but shouldn＇t believe in them without discrimination.＂ These assertions show his research features of thinking from oneself and doing from oneself.
