可摘式螺旋扩弓装置配合方丝弓矫正器的临床研究

Clinical study on the removable screw arch expansion mechanics accompanied with the use of the edgewise appliances

目的 探讨一种简单、可靠、稳定的扩弓方法。方法 选择 16例生长发育各期需扩弓矫治的患者 ,在常规戴入方丝弓矫治器的同时使用可摘式螺旋扩弓装置扩大牙弓。扩弓装置平均戴入时间为 6个月 ,方丝弓矫治器平均戴入 1～ 2年。结果 16例上颌牙弓均得到了不同程度的扩大 ,同时除 2例以外 ,14例下颌牙弓也随之扩大。结论 该方法可提高扩弓效率 ,减少复诊次数 ,是一种行之有效的扩弓方法 ,适用于生长发育各期的患者。

Objective The purpose of the study was to discuss and analyze a simple,reliable and stable method for arch expansion.Methods 16 subjects of variors growth periods who were in need of arch expansion orthodontic treatment were selected.Edgewise appliances and removable screw expansion mechanics were used at the same time for the treatment.The duration with removable screw expansion mechanics was about 6 months on average while the duration with Edgewise appliances was about 1 to 2 years.Results The results showed that the width of the upper arches of all the 16 subjects became larger to different extent and width of the lower arches of 14 subjects were also found larger simultaneously.Conclusion The study suggests that this arch expansion method is a simple,convenient and stable method which can greatly increase the efficiency of arch expansion and shorten the treatment time.It has been proved a practical method for arch expansion suitable for patients of various growth periods.
