一种波分复用星形网络的改进

摘要 提出了一种倍增波分复用星形网络用户数的方案 ,其特点是在 N× N中央星形耦合器和每一用户之间只用一根光纤连接 ,取代传统的 2纤连接方式 ,使支持的用户数从 N增加为 2 N- 4 ,而其硬件结构只需增加 2个光放大器和 2个宽带光滤波器。 In this paper, a new scheme is proposed to double the number of users in a WDM star network.. The technique is based on using a single fiber to connect each user to the central N×N star coupler, instead of two fibers per user in the conventional schemes. Therefore, a star network using a N×N transmissive star coupler as a central hub can support (2 N -4) users in the proposed scheme instead of N users in the conventional scheme. Only two optic amplifiers and two wideband optic filters are required to implement the new scheme.
