To discuss a new kind of surfactants fatty acid methyl ester ethoxylates （FMEE） and its derivatives sulfonate （FMES） in terms of production and application performance, including permeability, alkali resistance, low temperature flow property. Hard surface cleaning, textile dyeing and finishing, and other fields related applications were also explored in the paper.
