语言规划的国际化趋势:一个语言传播与竞争的新领域 被引量:41

摘要 在全球化趋势加快的今天,世界将以两种形式并存的特征愈加明显:即以国家为界的有形世界,以及由网络、资本、贸易、技术、服务、人口流动等连通而成的无形世界。这将更加强化各国在政治、经济、社会、文化等领域的联结,使各国的相互依赖加深。全球化也衍生出更多、更复杂的跨国问题,语言规划首当其冲。全球化在为民族语言的使用、规划和推广提供机会的同时,所带来的巨大压力也迫使人们重新审视语言规划的传统定义及研究领域。本文从民族语言与全球化互动趋势出发,考察语言规划国际化这一新兴的语言规划和传播领域及其相关现象,旨在为未来语言规划的研究和实践提供一个新的视角。 Globalization is a highly complex process that has made an enormous impact on multidimensional aspects of human life, one salient aspect of which is linguistic life. While offering opportunities for national languages' wider use and spread, globalization also brings pressure to the researcher to review the traditional definitions of language planning and its research domains. From the perspective of interaction between the national language within the national border and borderless globalization, this paper examines an emerging area of language planning by drawing upon worldwide experiences in major micro language planning areas. It aims to provide a new dimension for both language planners and researchers who are concerned with the future direction of language planning research and practice.
