摘要
本文以北京某高校英语专业2008级英语学习者的听力教学为例,对比单纯用音频资源的传统模式和多模态自主英语听力教学模式,通过问卷调查和测试,用定性和定量两种方法考察学习者对新教学模式的接受度及其实际教学效果,探讨多模态自主听力教学模式对学习者听力水平和多元识读能力的影响。结果发现:1)该教学模式受到绝大多数学习者的欢迎;2)该教学模式能够有效地促进学习者自主学习能力的提高;3)该教学模式能切实有效地提高学习者的听力水平以及多元识读能力。
Taking as the sample four classes of juniors from the School of Foreign Languages of a university in Beijing,we conducted a comparative study between a new antonomous listening model and the traditional listening model.Through questionnaire surveys and listening tests,we examined the outcome of employing the new model and collected feedback from the learners to find out about their acceptance of the new mode of teaching and learning.The findings include: 1) the new model is popular with the majority of the learners;2) the autonomous learning ability is enhanced after employing the new model;and 3) the new model does play a positive role in improving the learners' listening comprehension and multiliteracies.
