Driving by social demands, optical communication is now on its high-speed developing road. Integrated micro-opto-electro-mechanical system (MOEMS) is a high-tech developed recently. In this paper, we discussed the current research and appolication conditions of MOEMS on optical devices for optical communication. The tendency of the integration of optical systems is also prospected.
