S100蛋白家族是一个钙结合蛋白家族,钙离子在体内有着重要的生理功能,改变钙离子的浓度可激发多种生理反应,而钙结合蛋白是钙离子执行生理功能过程中的关键成分,S100蛋白通过对钙离子的调节及与靶蛋白的相互作用在体内发挥多种生物学功能。S100A12在炎症调节中起关键作用,参与机体的免疫防御反应或炎性反应等,在炎症性肠病、关节炎、心血管疾病等许多疾病中发挥着重要作用。
S100 protein is a group of low molecular weight calcium binding protein,which plays a variety of biological function in the body through the adjustment of calcium and the interaction of target protein,since calcium ions have important physiological function in vivo,changing the concentration of calcium may activate multiple physiological responses,and calcium binding protein is a key ingredient of the process.S100A12 plays a key role in the inflammatory adjustment and is involved in the body′s immune defense responses or inflammatory reaction.It plays an important role in inflammatory bowel disease,arthritis,and cardiovascular diseases.
