自然是道家哲学的最高价值，它的含义是“圆满自足”的“自然而然”。在道家看来，人类的一切行为都应该遵循自然的原则。道家的自然思想，在今天更加显示出其重要的警示作用和启悟价值。对于现代人类寻找新的文化对策，抵消理性中心主义和人类中心主义所产生的负面影响，防止人类进入异化状态，都是不可多得的思想资源。
Nature is the highest value of Taoist Philosophy, meaning that ＂a complete self-sufl^ciency＂ and ＂natural.＂ In the Taoist view, all human behavior should be guided by the princi- ples of natural, to increase the level of nature as much as possible. The natural thought of Taoist shows the more important func- tion of warning and the value of initiation today. The thought resource is rare and hard to get for modem human to find new measures to offset the negative impact that take by logocentrism and anthropocentrism and to prevent human into the state of alienation.
