Using Visual Basic （VB） 6.0 to develop a computer aided design software for float valve towers. The software has a friendly interface and operability to meet the required of the float valve tower design calculation. The software is applicable to both the chemical process design of the float valve towers and the aided teaching. When it is applied to the teaching of chemical engineering principle design, the teaching effectiveness can be dramatically improved.
