我国图书馆从产生到现在经历了古代图书馆、近代图书馆和现代图书馆3个发展时期,不同时期的图书馆受社会、政治、经济、文化和科技的影响,衍生出与社会发展相适应的功能特性。随着社会的进步和科技的发展,我国图书馆会根据人们生产、生活的需要,发展成为资源高度共享的多中心、多层次的服务平台。

From emergence till now, Chinese library has undergone three different periods of ancient library, modern library and contemporary library. In different periods, the library was influenced by the society, politics, economy, culture and science and technology and derived some functional characteristics adapting to the social development. Along with the social progress the sci-tech development,Chinese library will develop into a multicenter and multi-level service platform with highly sharing of resources according to people＇s needs of production and life.
