金塑铜环的结构是在塑料圈内加一立柱,立柱上缠绕250mm^2的钢丝,使之成为一种活性的环形IUD。1154例放置12个月时的临床总结,妊娠率为1.4每百妇女,脱落率为0.8每百妇女,因症取出率为3.14每百妇女,继续使用率为93.8每百妇女。曾和ML铜375和T铜220C作了随机分配的比较性观察,3种IUD之间除因症取出和总终止率和T铜220C的差异有显著性之外,其他方面差异均无显著性,说明金塑铜环的避孕效果已达到几种主要的活性IUD的水平。

The structure of steel plastic copper ring consists a plastic circular core with a short rod in it. There is a copper wire of 250 mm^2 surface area covered the rod. So it is an active IUD.The clinical observation of 1154 cases at 12 months showed: the pregnancy rate was 1.4 per 100 women, the expulsion rate was 0.8 and the removal rate due to medical reason was 3.14, the continuation was 93.8 per 100 women.When compared with MLCu 375 and TCu 220c, there were significant differences only in the medical removal rate and total ter mination rate between SPCu 250 and the others. The study demonstrated that SPCu has reached the same effectiveness of the other active IUD in our country.
