In this paper,we analysis the Southern Song court body flower and bird painting aesthetic characteristics from the works of composition,shape,taste,writing four aspects based in the Southern Song Dynasty court painting works and the Song Dynasty history and related theory.Strict simplicity of the composition reveals the Southern Song Dynasty art virtual spirit and poetic characteristics;Both are prepared to shape is affected by age Philosophy—Theory of ＂thinking walking＂ ＂faithfulness＂theory,show the painter to reality objectively and humanistic care;Abundant natural charm is a painter in seeking truth and seeking beauty and goodness,the pursuit of the spirit of self emancipation of mind expression;and enrich the brushstroke techniques is its accurate portrait image,we reached a mood of the powerful guarantee.The school body flower-and-bird painting created Oriental deep elegant aesthetic concept,is the legacy of a valuable spiritual wealth.
