摘要
"安"是孔子对于仁的一种重要态度,一指"安守仁道",在任何环境下都能够做到久处约、常处乐;二指儒家安其仁而无适不然、从心所欲的境界,这体现出儒家高度的道德自觉和道德境界。孔子"安于仁"的思想内含着仁与天命、仁与礼的关系的合理解决。新儒家学者从直觉主义出发,多以"不安"来指点仁,最终目的却是求得"安于仁"。
"Resting content with benevolence" is a kind of important attitude from Confucius. First, it refers to "resting content with benevolence". In any environment a man can endure adversity and enjoy prosperity for a long time. Second, it shows that Confucians rest content with benevolence without any upset, and do as they please. It reflects the height of the Confucian moral self-consciousness and moral realm. Confucius's thought of "resting con- tent with benevolence" is consonant with the reasonable solution of the relationship between "benevolence" and "destiny", and "benevolence" and "courtesy". From the intuitive perspective, the new Confucian scholars tend to comment on benevolence in terms of "discontent", but it turns out that their ultimate goal is to "rest content with benevolence".
