Research on the Comprehensive Development Level of Preschool Education in China

摘要 在参考国内外相关研究的基础上,结合国内学前教育现状,构建了由四项一级指标和六项二级指标构成的中国学前教育综合发展水平指标体系。根据该指标体系对全国和各地区学前教育发展指数进行统计计算,结果显示,2003—2010年我国学前教育综合发展水平呈现逐年递增的趋势,但东、中、西部地区学前教育发展水平具有明显的差异和不同特点。从东部地区到西部地区学前教育的发展水平呈现出由高到低的变化趋势。东部地区的发展水平明显高于全国平均水平,但各省份间差异明显;中部地区的发展水平基本接近全国平均水平,各省份间差异不大;而西部地区的发展水平则在全国平均线以下,各省份间的差异也比较大。 Based on the research home and abroad, combined with the status of preschool education in China, we have constructed the index system of comprehensive development level of preschool education with four first-rate indexes and six second-rate indexes in China. According to the relevant statistical data, the indexes of preschool education development are calculated, it is found out that comprehensive development level of preschool education in China from 2003 to 2010 has been increased year by year, but there are significant differences and different characteristics in different areas. The development level of preschool education from the east to the west is from high to low. The development level of preschool education in the east is much higher than that of the national average, but there are significant differences among its provinces. The development level of preschool education in the middle is close to that of the national average, and there are few differences among its provinces. The development level of preschool education in the west is lower than that of the national average, and there are significant differences among its provinces.
