摘要
《经义述闻》乃经学之权威,亦是王念孙、王引之父子之代表著作。二人每立一说,必言之有据,去取之间,尽见卓识。但书中亦有未尽完善之处,其中,"以孝烝烝"可读为"克谐以孝,烝烝乂不格奸","烝烝"于先秦典籍习见,其义为"盛"、"美",而非"孝";《汗简》、《古文四声韵》之"誓"或沿自金文,而非籀文"折"字;"乃命于帝庭,敷佑四方"一句,王引之训"敷"为"徧",实则"敷佑"音义皆同"抚有",是"匍有"、"抚有"的同音假借。
The Shangshu is one of the most scholars and annotators have attempted to study the important Confucian classics. A brilliant pleiad of Shangshu, among them Wang Niansun ( 1744 - 1832) and his son Wang Yinzhi ( 1766 ~ 1834) of the Qing period (1644 ~1911 ). Wang Yinzhi's Jingyi shuwen is one of the most significant commentaries on the Shangshu. While being detailed and constructive, Wang's commentaries occasionally fail to provide thorough explanations to words and expressions in the Shangshu. This essay studies three such entries.
