In order to control and reduce greenhouse and gas emission, and accelerate the con struction of ecological civilization, we must speed up the green transformation of Chinese cities. The subject selection of the green city transformation mainly includes the government guidance, the industrial response, the enterprise action, the intermediary services, and the social participa tion. To quicken the construction of ecological civilization, and promote the green transformation of Chinese cities, we should strengthen the government guidance, advance green industrial lay- out, improve low carbon technology, encourage cleaner production, foster low carbon innovation, and attract social participation of the masses.
