重视发展二级学科 科学定名一级学科——再论本学科建设问题

Pay Great Attention to the Development of the Second Level Disciplines, and Scientifically Name the First Level Discipline——Again on tfae Development of Our Discipline

现在国内外印本资料和图书馆还是在不断发展,但我们的图书馆学教育却大大地萎缩了,主要原因之一是对本学科与相关学科的本质特性理解有问题,导致未经充分论证就轻易改名,从而使情报学和图书馆学都受到影响。这里试图再做点“正本清源”的工作,在Adler“法则”的基础上做了较大的改进,对信息、知识、情报和智慧的关系以及图书馆、情报机构的任务等从新视角做了阐述。最后强调应重视发展图书馆学等二级学科,并科学定名一级学科,目前建议为信息资源管理。

At present, both at home and abroad, the printed materials and libraries are still developing. But our library science has shrunk greatly. One thing accounts for the occurrence——there are some problems in our understanding to the innate character of our discipline and related disciplines, which leads to hasty renaming and thus affects the development of both information science and library science. Here the author tries to do some thorough - going reforms. On the basis of Adler' s 'law', he has made significant improvements——expounding, from a new angle of view, the relationship among information, knowledge, intelligence and wisdom, and the main tasks of libraries and information centers. Finally, the author emphasizes that we should pay great attention to the development of the second level disciplines, and scientifically name the first level discipline——at present he suggests IRM be the first level discipline.
