As a city card ,city square can effectively demonstrates the living conditions of urban residents and the city＇s spirit ,so the design and planning of the city square is particularly rigorous and important ,w hich should not only reflect the aestheticview s of landscape designbut alsohighlight the city＇s heritage and person-ality .Therefore ,it requires the full attention of urban designers tointegrating regional features into the de-sign .However ,in the actual case ,the regional features of the city square are often overlooked by designers . Thus today’s design community should focus on the important topics of how tobetter integrate the regional heritage and development of urban culture into thedesign of the city square.
