Objective:To explore the effect of drop foot stimulator and body weight supported treadmill training on walking function of hemiplegic patients. Methods:All 36 hemiplegic patients were randomly divided into control group (n=18) and research group (n=18).Both groups accepted routine rehabilitation, while the research group accepted drop foot stimulator and body weight supported treadmill training in addition 6 days per week.Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA-L),Berg balance scale (BBS),and walking speed method were used before and after the treatment. Results:After treatment for 8 weeks, scores of FMA and BBS in two groups were increased significantly, more significantly in the research group than in the control group (all P<0.05).Walking speed in two groups was significantly increased, and stride length difference between two foot was significantly decreased, more significantly in the research group than in the control group (all P<0.05).Conclusion:Drop foot stimulator and body weight supported treadmill training can accelerate the recovery of lower limbs of hemiplegic patients and improve their ability to participate in daily activities.
