Breeding and Utilization of Long-grain BT-type Japonica CMS Line Chang 01-11A in Rice

常01-11A是常熟市农业科学研究所以不育系武运粳7号A为母本,以长粒型粳稻常01-11为父本测交并连续回交转育而成的BT型长粒三系粳稻不育系,2010年3月通过江苏省品种审定。该不育系育性稳定,具有配合力强、花时早、开花集中、开颖角度大、有部分柱头外露、异交结实率高、易繁殖制种等特点。所配组合常优5号(常01-11A/CR-27)2010年3月和9月分别通过江苏省和国家品种审定。

Chang 01-11 A, developed from the cross between japonica ponica rice Chang 01-11 and the subsequent successive backcrosses by CMS line Wuyunjing 7A and long grain ja- Changshu Agricultural Science Research In- stitute of Jiangsu Province, is a BT-type japonica CMS line with long grains. In March, 2010, it was registered and released by Jiangsu Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee. It is characteristic of stable male sterility, good combining ability, early flowering time, concentrated flowering, wide glume-opening angles, partial stigma exser- tion, high outcrossing rate and easy production of hybrid seed and male sterile line seed. Its hybrid Changyou 5 （Chang 01-11 A/CR-27 ）was certified and released for commercial production in March and September, 2010, by Jiangsu Provincial and the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committees, respectively.
