图象信号的增量编码研究

The Research Toward on Delta Modulation Coding for Picture Signal

本文从图象信号增量编码的角度出发,讨论了图象信号的统计特性和增量调制特性,并计算出图象信号的有效带宽。同时,给出了一个实用化的图象信号增量编解码器,用它对图象信号的增量调制特性进行了实验研究,给出了结果。

In this paper, We discuss the statistical and delta modulationalcharacteristics of picture signal from the angle of encoding picture signalby Delta Modulation(DM) method. The effective bandwidth for transmissionof picture signal is given in it.A DM codec for picture signal is also provided.The DM codec can be used for transmitting picture signal in digital opticalfiber transmission system at low bit rates.We have done some experimentalresearches on DM characteristics of picture signal. Finally the paperprovides the results of picture transmission by using the DM codec.
