发现系统引发的关于信息素养教育的思考

Thinking on Information Literacy Education Based on Discovery System

将海量异构的资源整合为一体,提供单一检索入口,并以百度、Google的搜索理念研发的发现系统是当前高校正在引进的检索系统。为了使读者意识到使用发现系统的检索所忽略的信息检索知识及缺失的信息检索技术,应将发现系统作为当前信息素养教育的新平台,并将"发现"概念引入信息素养教育中。从知识发现中培养信息素养,使发现系统与信息素养教育之间形成良性互动,来不断提高读者的信息素养水平。

Discovery system, which integrates mass heterogeneous resources, developed with the searching philosophy of Baidu and Google, and provides a single point of search entry, is being introduced currently in many universities. It is a new mission, granted by the development of science and technology, for library to arouse readers＇ awareness of the ignored knowledge and the lost techniques of information retrieval based on discovery system, so as to improve library patrons＇ information literacy. Discovery system should be used as a new platform and the concept of ＂discovery＂ as a new thinking for information literacy education. By developing information literacy from knowledge discovery and making good interaction between discovery system and information literacy education, reader＇s information literacy would be improved constantly.
