This paper analyzes some challenges brought about by the new media age to the configuration of periodical resources in the library of higher vocational college, expounds the current status of and existing problems in the construction of periodical resources of the library of higher vocational college, and through the investigation on the requirements for the configuration of library＇s periodical resources, probes into some countermeasures for the rational configuration of library＇s periodical resources from aspects of periodical＇s professional configuration, characteristic construction, utilization ratio, and renewal, etc.
