Resultant and Complementarity: The Development Dynamic Mechanism of the UK Social Enterprises

受20世纪下半期欧洲经济危机影响,英国传统福利国家政策难以为继,社会组织发展一蹶不振,而社会企业却逆流而上显示出强大的生命力。社会企业发展动力机制是什么?通过考察组织与环境之间的关系,发现社会企业合法性机制构建和社会企业效率机制生成,分别为其发展提供了外部推力与内部拉力,而两个机制的合力与互补则是英国社会企业强劲发展的关键。

Because of the economic crisis in Europe at the second half of the 20th century, state policies on traditional welfare is unsustainable in the United Kingdom, with the development of social organizations in the depressed state, while the UK social enterprises showing strong vitality at the same time. What is the development dynamic mechanism of the UK social enterprises？ From the survey, this paper reveals that, the establishment of legitimacy and efficiency mechanism provides both the external thrust and internal tension for the development of social enterprises. And the resultant and complementarity of the two mechanisms are the key factors to the vigorous development of social enterprises.
