摘要
分析了焦点结构化解释和选项语义、量化结构的限制域和模态算子的焦点敏感性,据此在参照语段理论(PT;Chomsky 2001,2004,2008)的严格循环(SC)、一致性Agree(p,g)系统和局部性制约下,结合汉语研究在PF拼读中处于动词前的宾语DPs的理据,即特征核查(FC)的一致性驱动DPs的移动。在严格循环和一致性系统下把焦点结构分析为:语段功能中心语探针尤其焦点中心语Foc携带的未赋值边界特征(EPP等π-特征)驱动携带已赋值焦点特征的DPs循环移动到边界Spec-Foc位置,运算赋值了边界特征,焦点可在T的EPP-特征驱动下移动到Spec-T,满足了T的EPP-特征和φ-特征。结合Yan(2005)探讨的"连"-DP、"把"-DP句式和古汉语事实解决了Foc探针的EPP-特征驱动DPs移动机制的应用。提出语段的推导循环同构对应于焦点等信息结构(IS)成分来解决韵律-语义的协调等问题。
This article explicates the structured interpretation of focus, alternative semantics, the restricted domain of quantificational structure and focus sensitivity of modal operators. With the strict cyclicity, Agree and phase theory (PT; Chomsky 2001 et seq.), it investigates the motivation of preverbal object DPs in PF spell-out, i.e., the agreement mechanism-based movement under feature checking with Chinese corpus. And particularly under strict cycle, Agree(p, g) system, unvalued edge feature (EPP, w-feature) carried by the focus head, Foe drives DPs already with valued focus feature cyclically to move to the edge Spec-Foc, valuating the edge features. Focus can move to Spec-T driven by EPP feature of T, and satisfy the T' s EPP and ψ-features. This article also focuses on the EPP-feature driven DP movement by Foe probes from Yan' s (2005) lion (连) -DP, ba (把) -DP constructions and archaic Chinese. It proposes that the derivational cycles are isomorphic to informational structure focus, which solves the prosody-semantics mappings.
