分形理论在目标检测与识别中的应用研究进展

摘要 自20世纪70年代分形几何的概念提出以来,分形理论已被广泛应用于自然科学、社会科学和工程技术等领域,分形几何方法的引入使一些蓬勃发展的新学科获得了巨大的推动力,分形几何和目标检测与识别领域的结合就是一个明显的例证。在简要介绍分形理论的基础上,主要从一维序列分形分析和分形图像处理两个方面对分形理论在复杂自然背景下的目标检测与识别中的应用研究进展进行了综述,并对其未来发展进行了展望。 Since the concept of fractal geometry was proposed in the 1970s, fractal theory has been widely applied to many subjects and technical realms such as natural science, social science, engineering and so on. The introduction of fractal methods has contributed the progress of some new subjects remarkably, and the application of fractal theory in target detection and recognition is a distinct exemplification. On basis of introducing fractal theory briefly, the application research progress of fractal theory in target detection and recognition with complicated background from two aspects are summarized: one is the 1-D series fractal analysis, the other is fractal imaging processing, and the development trends are forecasted also.
