This paper probes into the factors which influence students listening comprehension. Certain language factors and non language factors are found out here to be the obstacles of improving listening comprehension, such as idioms, new words, abbreviations and acronyms, knowledge range, cultural differences and psychological factor. And suggestions have been put forward to help students in the improvement of listening comprehension.
