唐代的宫怨诗与闺怨诗以描写女性的情感世界和心理状态为主，深情幽怨、含蓄蕴藉是其“幽怨美”的主要特征，也是这两类诗歌独具审美魅力且历久不衰的根本所在。抒情主人公——怨女思妇的低贱地位、无奈处境、美好愿望、不幸命运则是形成唐代宫怨诗和闺怨诗“幽怨美”的深层原因。

The poems of palace and boudoir repinings are on es which chiefly d escribe females emotional worlds and mental conditions,a category of descripti on characteristic of deep feelings and repininings from the heart of hearts,and the contained and cultured“beauty of hidden bitterness”.These distinctive feat ures are also fundamental reasons why the aesthetic charm of these two classes o f poetry last for a long time without failing,while the humble positions,helples s cir cumstances,glorious aspirations and unfortunate fates on the part of those heroi nes expressing their feelings,are root causes for the formation of the poetry o f palace and boudoir repinings. ［
