关于硕士生英语运用能力训练的教改试验

摘要 本文报道了我校在完成了硕士生第一阶段的教学目标之后 (通过省学位考试 ) ,如何提高学生英语运用能力的第二阶段教学改革试验。试验试图通过写作练习带动口语表达 ,以强化课外写作准备减轻课堂口语练习中的焦虑感 (anxiety)。问卷调查数据表明 ,这种以写带说、写说齐抓的教学方法激发了学生学习和使用英语的兴趣 ,增强了学生用英语交际的信心和能力。 This paper reports on the second semester teaching experiment on improving Chinese EFL graduates' English communicative competence after fulfilling the first stage teaching target. The subjects consisted of 95 first year non English majored graduates in China Pharmaceutical university. The experiment focused on the improvement of spoken English through writing practice and the release of anxiety in oral presentation through after class writing preparation. Responses to the questionnaire showed that the subjects welcomed this new method and consequently felt more confident in their own communication of English.
