Fixed broadband wireless access technology is consid- ered to be the technology of choice for the upstart carriers' last mile solutions. This article describes fixed broadband wireless access technology's current developments, com- petition environment and some key representative technolo- gies. Besides, some key factors and strategies enabling their healthy growth in the future development are also analyzed.
