历史已经表明 ,科学技术是推动人类社会前进的最高意义上的革命力量。当今世界 ,以信息技术和生命科学等为先导的科技革命的迅猛发展 ,深刻地改变了人类的生产方式、管理方式、生活方式和思维方式。推动了人类社会的加速发展。因此 ,深入探讨科学技术的发展逻辑 ,认真反思科学技术和社会发展的相互关系 ,正确认识和预测科技革命对社会发展的影响 ,从而使科学技术更好地服务于社会发展 ,同时实现哲学社会科学理论的创新 ,是近年来社会各界尤其是学术界关注的焦点。为此 ,本刊特别约请几位学者撰写了下面这组文章 ,希望能引起读者更进一步的讨论。

Science and technology are the most powerful forces driving human society forward. In the present world, the revolution of science and technology driven by information technology and biology has greatly changed the relationship between human beings and nature and promoted progress in human society. Further, it has brought about profound changes in humanity's modes of production, management, living and thinking. The focus of interest of various social circles, especially of academic circle, is now how to correctly understand and forecast these changes and their influence and reflect on the mutual relations between the scientific, technological and social developments so as to give new life to philosophy and the theories of social sciences and make science and technology serve social development even better.
