It is exposed that the optimization of the structural parameters of sublevel caving is essentially that of the spacial configuration of the draw off body.The application of the large space structural mode in Meishan Iron Mine is presented and it is pointed out that enlarging the lane space is the best selection for optimizing the parameters of sublevel caving.
