Application of biotechnology on the prevention and cure of lactose intolerance

原发性乳糖酶缺乏和乳糖不耐受(吸收不良)是全球性的健康问题。从基因工程技术生产乳糖酶、利用生物反应器生产低乳糖奶、基因治疗等3个方面介绍了生物技术在乳糖不耐受(吸收不良)防治中的应用,并提出口服经基因改造的益生菌制剂,从根本上解决乳糖酶缺乏的新思路。

Primary lactase deficiency and lactose intolerance(malabsorption) affect hundreds of millions people worldwide.In this paper,the application of biotechnology on the prevention and cure of lactose intolerance(malabsorption) was discussed from three aspects including lactase production using genetic engineering technique,low lactose milk production using bioreactor and gene therapy for lactose intolerance(malabsorption).In addition,it is suggested that oral genetic modified probiotic pharmaceutics might be a practical and feasible strategy for lactase deficiency.
