Training Strategy for Innovative Talents Majored in Chemistry in University of California Los Angeles(UCLA)

摘要 以深度参与美国加州大学洛杉矶分校(UCLA)的课程学习的经验和体会为基础,对该校在人才培养理念、化学专业设置与课程体系、实验课程教学方式与要求、科研创新实践活动等方面的做法进行了梳理和总结。UCLA以学生为中心的教育理念、模块化且循序渐进的课程设置、丰富的实验课及科研实践活动,以及对安全的高度重视等,对我国高校培养创新型化学人才有很好的借鉴意义。 The characteristics of education mission,majors and curricula in chemistry department,pattern of laboratory teaching,as well as student research activities in the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)were summarized.The outcome-guided and student-centered conception is the most distinctive educational spirit of the university,which governs the curriculum setting and the arrangement of research activities.Experimental courses and student research progroms are valued highly so as to help students to gain the ability to solve real problem in the future.Safety in lab is treated seriously all around the campus.All these ideas and abundant practical experiences accumulated in the kind of top universities will enlighten our work of innovative student training.
