信、达、雅,及时、准确地翻译是搞好中西文明交流。
Xin' (faithfulness), 'da' (expression) and 'ya' (elegance) are three criteria of translation. Prompt and correct translation means a prerequisite for a good exchange between China and the West and a good learning from each other.
