兼长角纹石蛾的趋避习性

A Study on Tendency and Evading Habits of Amphipsyche proluta (Trichoptera:Hydropsychidae)

报道大量发生在湖南省柘溪水电站的一种毛翅目昆虫“兼长角纹石蛾 (AmphipsycheprolutaMacLachlan)”的趋避习性 ,为寻找治理该石蛾的办法提供依据 .

Along 8 km entent of the river down from the dam of Zhexi reservoir of Hunan province, a kind of caddisfly named Amphipsyche proluta MacLachlan have been arising in great quantities every year. The tendency and evading habits of this insect have been studied now, and it provides basis for finding out some ways to integrate management of this insect. In accordance with the investigations, Amphipsyche proluta have the tendency and evading habits as folllows: ① adults have violent tendency to light and to damp environment, have no tendency to many foods and flavours, is not sensitive to vibration and sound waves. ② larvae have evading behavior to light and to many chemicals and to sudden vibration, is not sensitive to foods and flavours. The proper temperature range for larvae is 10～32 ℃, if water temperature is lower than 10 ℃, larvae will enter the state of dormancy, and if water temperature is over 35 ℃ or lower than 0 ℃, larvae cannot survive. ③ While becoming pupa the larvae will tend to light obviously, so the pupa cocoons all stick on the up face of big stones under water.
