The Influencing Factors of Firm Growth:A Survey of Empirical Literatures Based on Capital Structure

企业成长是一个永恒主题,从资本结构1的视角对其进行研究,体现了对彭罗斯企业成长理论的继承和深化,是国内外学者长期关注的一个焦点问题。文章基于广义资本结构的概念,从股权结构和债务结构两个方面,按照研究的时间顺序,对每篇经验文献的研究对象、研究思路、研究方法、概念界定、变量度量、样本选择以及主要结论等进行回顾;文章最后部分是对综述内容的简要总结,并提出未来研究的展望。

Firm growth is an eternal theme. Researching the Influencing Factors of Firm Growth based on capital structure reflects the inheritance and deepening on Penrose＇s theory of firm growth, it has always been a focus concerned by scholars. Based on the concept of generalized capital structure and according to the time sequence of the literatures, this paper reviews the empirical literatures from two aspects of ownership structure and debt structure. In the review of each empirical literature, this paper mainly reviews the research object, thinking, method, concept definition, variable measurement, sample selection and main conclusions. The last part of this paper is a brief summary of review content and provides some advice on future research.
