高职学生英语学习现状及社团需求的调查报告

An Investigation Report on Higher Vocational Students' Current English Learning Situation and the Demand for English Clubs

调查结果表明,高职学生英语知识技能基础薄弱,英语学习兴趣不浓,学习困扰点多且缺乏有效的学业求助策略,英语学习效能感低。高职学生认为参加英语社团是英语课外学习的有效途径,希望通过参加英语社团,以比较轻松的方式提升自己的英语水平、了解外国文化、扩大交际范围。高职院校英语社团建设中应注意创设自主环境,拓展社团功能,完善组织管理等。

The investigation result indicates that with little interest and low efficiency in English learning, higher vocational students have weak foundation in English knowledge and skills, and they are lack of academic help seeking effective learning strategies. Higher vocational students think that joining the English club is an effective way for extra^curricular English learning. They hope to improve their English skills, understand foreign cultures and expand their social communication scope in a relaxed environment through participating in the English club. In the construction of English clubs, higher vocational colleges should pay attention to create autonomous environment, expand community functions and improve the organization and management.
