摘要
本文在生成框架内进一步分析和归纳了最简语段与GB语障在局部/区位性制约上存在的相似性和区别特征;系统阐述了制约最简一致性运算的局部性条件(LC),进而分析了A'-依存/非连续依存的特征一致性推导以及焦点允准等问题。尤其,结合制图方法研究了C域左边界的量化语义解释和否定极性项/NPI的允准。本文旨在进一步界定语段作为推导运算的局部循环域的本质及其在语义接口中的应用。研究表明,区位性是符合经济原则的优选计算制约,C域是语义一话语解释与计算的核心域;计算有效性和语义接口条件构成了原则性解释的必要条件,语义解释也存在循环性。
This paper further analyzes the similarities and distinctive properties in localities of minimalist phases and GB Barriers within the generative framework, it systematically illustrates the locality condition constraining Agree(p,g) operations in MP, and furthermore it addresses the featural agreement derivations and focus licensing etc in A' -/discontinuous dependencies. In particular, we probe into the quantificational semantics and NPI licensing at the left periphery of C phase domain with the cartographic approach. This article aims to further qualify the local cyclic domain nature of phase in derivational operations and its crucial role in semantic interface. The investigations have testified the facts that locality conforms to optimal computational constraints of economy principle, and C phase is the kernel domain for semantic-discourse interpretation and computations. Computational efficiency of phases and semantic interface conditions are necessary for principled interpretations. And cyclicity is subsumed under semantic interpretations.
