On Chinese Culture Introduction in College English Teaching

分析了中国文化在大学英语教学中的现状,指出英语课程教材、英语教师及学生均存在中国文化缺失问题。认为必须从教师和学生双方树立文化平等意识,教材课程必须增加中国文化部分,遵循"中国英语""双层英语"等先进的教学理念等来有效地加强中国文化的导入。

The status of Chinese culture in college English teaching is analyzed. The problems of deficiency in English curriculum, textbooks, students and teachers are indicated. Chinese culture introduction in college English teaching should be improved effectively. Students and teachers should have the equal cultural consciousness, more Chinese culture should be added in English curriculum and textbooks, the advanced rules such as “Chinese English” and “double-layer English” should be followed.
