Japan' s Qixi legend has been carried down not only in the form of myths, tales, legends and medieval novles, but also presented by funeral oration in some areas like Kochi- ken. Qixi funeral oration lives on the folk belief of Izanagi, which would be recited by Tayuu on Qixi festival or when a patient prays. Viewed from its content,Qixi funeral oration is a combination of Japan' s kale story, problem type story and Qixi legend. From a view of sacrificial ceremony,Qixi funeral oration represents a combination with textile belief. In one word,Qixi funeral oration in the folk belief of Izanagi,a ceremony integrating sacrifice, pray and augury, has preserved and carried down Qixi legend through Tayuu' s reciting.
