It is clarified which position is propitious to its development by way of the analysis of the development and status quo of algesiology.To consider algesiology as a multidisciplinary specialty at present can be helpful in mobilizing the enthusiasm of part time doctors.The direction of algesiology will be set in independent subject,medical research integration,and remedial popularization.
