摘要
PMC及其与Europe PMC和PMC Canada共同构建的PMCI被公认为是生物医学期刊文献开放存取和数字化存储的成功典范。本文从PMCI的构成、各个镜像节点的创建和功能特点加以讨论,针对PMC与Pub Med以及PMCI各节点之间在存储模式和内容上的差异等进行了比较。并提出了在期刊文献开放存取与数字化存储实践中的几点启示。
PMC International （PMCI） is constituted of PubMed Central in US, Europe PMC, and PMCCanada, and recognized as the successful model of open access and digital storage for medical periodicalliterature. In this artile, the composition of PMCI, and the establishment and function characteristics of eachmirror image node were discussed. The differences in storing pattern and content collected from each mirrorimage node among PMC, PubMed, and PMCI were compared. Some suggestions were put forward for openaccess and digital storage practice of periodical literature.
