Amos Oz,a Hebrew writer,showed the conflicts between Israelis and Arabs before and after the foundation of the State of Israel and history of the two peoples＇ experiences from respecting each other to fighting against each other,by means of literature. His stories indicate the sadness of an Israel writer and sorrow for Arab people＇ s suffering, revealing the conflicts of humanism and national responsibility. The images of Arabs, created in his stories, are not simply literary but a cultural psychological complication,carrying the writer＇ s history awareness and national experience.
