Based on the investigation of leather production industrial emissions of heavy metals,the characteristics of heavy metal pollution in leather production process analyzed,the methods of Pollution prevention were introduced in the paper.cleaner production technologies and practical cases to prevent heavy metal chromium pollution were recommended,it was of great importance to get sustainable development and to strengthen environmental management of leather industry.
